WHY RENTED REFERRALS AVERAGES ARE LOW
(Any average above your BEP is a profitable average)



Here are some possible causes of
low averages for rented referrals:

  1. not clicking daily according to server time
  2. missing too many days of your own daily ad clicks
  3. refs clicking days is getting farther apart
    (could be an indication of clicking activity is slowing)
  4. refs is clicking less than your BEP
  5. recycling too many refs more than 4~5% each day
    (too many 0 clickers and newly exchanged referrals)
  6. recycling too many 0 clickers
  7. too many static recycling
    (adjust to changes and current account conditions)
  8. insufficient data to study referrals when recycling
    (at least 3 weeks or more)
  9. recycling refs close to being auto-recycling
    (7 or more days of inactivity)
  10. renewing too many refs for 15 days or 30 days
  11. too low number amounts of rented referrals
    (higher chances of average fluctuations)
  12. too many refs clicking unprofitable at reguarly bases


Here are some possible solutions:

  1. clicking daily according to server time
    (doing so to earn from your refs clicks everyday)
  2. click ads daily
    (not miss a day of earnings)
  3. monitor refs clicking activities or patterns
    (helps to reduce unprofitable clickers)
  4. recycle unprofitable refs
    (focus on older refs because you have more data to judge them with)
  5. recycle and test your results on smaller group of selected referrals
  6. recommended not to recycle 0 clickers
    (because there is no data to judge them with)
  7. change and adapt your current recycling policy to current account condition
    (if the current recycling is not working you must change
    the way how you select the referrals to recycle)
  8. use the export list to gather more data
  9. recycling refs close to being auto-recycling
    (let the auto-recycle take care of them)
  10. renewing for longer days to lower the BEP average
  11. increase # of refs to meet your budget/goal and as your managing skills increases
  12. you must find and recycle refs that are clicking unprofitable at reguarly bases

If you have windows vista or windows 7, there's an option to add additional clocks.


First, click once on your time to open this box:


Next, click on "change date and time settings..." and then select the "additional clocks" tab to bring up the options to show additional clocks:


Finally, select "show this clock" and then select "-5:00 Eastern Time" which will be the server time.

    Why referrals don't click on all their ads



    WHY REFERRALS DON'T CLICK ON ALL THEIR ADS

    It's not a matter of how many ads available
    to click but more of personal priorities, goals and situations.

    Why forum threads/topics gets locked



    I've created This Topic and I hadn't neither time time to answer the "hlspartan" and "masterjake" posts, so here are the answer:
    cannot you read? cannot interpret? Just read again and again, and you'll see that I say "one time a week for example". Don't came with your goofy reply.

    The moderator that closed the topic could avoid this new topic, if you give me the right to answer, instead of close the topic without explanation and without reply me request that I've done with every good wish.

    Stop doing that... give at least a minimal respect and importance to the all person that take time and good wish to do a feature request.

    Neobux forum could be better... to close a topic without explanation is not the right way 
    It's obvious that in this section when a topic gets locked it only means that the idea has been seen and they need no more feedback about it and of course it has nothing to do with disrespect (they could delete your topic if their intention was to disrespect you). If they will implement it or not it's something that we will eventually find out later.

    Why can't I add more funds to the rental balance



    The max amount of money you add to your rental balance is related to your membership and the amount of refs you current have. The more refs you have the higher that value will be up to a maximum of 1000$.

    When can I get direct referrals



    WHEN CAN I GET DIRECT REFERRALS

    TOS
    3.10. Users can only have direct referrals after being a
    member for at least 30 days and having at least 100 clicks.
    Any attempts to get them before that will fail.


    An easy way to check if you have met the requirements is to:
    -Click on your username (up within the black toolbar)

    If you see a warning message that you must
    have 30 days and 100 clicks then you must wait.

    * Full inactive days must have passed.
    * Referrals are not locked.
    * Rreferrals are recycled throughout the
    day. This means that after they've been
    marked as inactive (depending on each
    user's inactivity period) they'll be
    recycled during the day. Instead of seeing
    blocks of referrals being recycled in a few
    hours you'll see a few each minute.

    Money reduced from my main balance



    MONEY REDUCED FROM MY MAIN BALANCE

    Here are some of the possible causes:

    - A rented referral expired
    The fees are:
    Standard members: $0.02
    Golden members: $0.04
    Golden members with a Golden Pack: $0.05
    Golden members after their first consecutive year: $0.03
    Golden members with a Golden Pack after their first consecutive year: $0.02

    And is deducted from your main balance.
    If main balance is insufficient then it
    will be a negative balance.

    - AutoPay is enabled
    The value for each referral/day will be
    deducted from your rental balance.
    If your rental balance has insufficient
    funds, it will deduct from your main balance.
    If both balances have insufficient funds,
    it won't be triggered and will only work
    again when one of the balances has enough funds.

    - AutoRenew is enabled
    AutoRenew renews your referral's deadline based
    on your chosen renewal period and time before expiration.
    The value for each referral will be
    deducted from your rental balance.
    If your rental balance has insufficient
    funds, it will deduct from your main balance.
    If both balances have insufficient funds,
    it won't be triggered and will only work
    again when one of the balances has enough funds.

    - You transfered funds to your rental balance
    The rental balance is used to pay the costs of managing
    referrals (renting, extending, recycling, AutoPay, etc) and
    cannot be used for any other purchase nor can it be cashed out.

    - You requested a cashout
    The minimum amount paid is $2.00 on the first cashout.
    This amount will increase by $1.00 for each cashout until it
    reaches a fixed minimum amount of $10.00.
    After that, the minimum amount will always be $10.00

    - You recycle or renew rented referrals
    and not enough money in your rental balance.

    - You transfered funds to the golden pack balance or purchased an upgrade
    golden pack balance will be used to purchase, upgrade or extend a Golden Pack.

    I have not receive the email verification



    The registration only gets recorded if the user enters the code sent by email. If he/she closes the window, etc, the registration won't be recorded so he/she can register again.

    The "Junk" or "Spam" folder are the typical way email servers deal with what they don't know but sometimes, the email can even be blocked right before it reaches the user's inbox.

    Adding the "neobux.com" domain to the list of trusted senders is a good way if nothing is in the spam folder. This action needs to be done in the email's internet page itself and not in a client (such as outlook) as the clients do not send that information back to the email server.

    I can't view or click on the Ad's



    I CAN'T VIEW OR CLICK ON THE AD'S

    If you cannot see the ad's at all (not visible), then:
    Make sure that you are allowing
    the scripts to be executed on the page.

    If you can see the ads as unavailable, then:
    In the low right corner of anyone of the unavailable
    ads there is a gray star. If you hover your mouse over
    this star, you will learn why this advertisement is not
    available right now or when it will be available again.

    If you can click the ads and you get an error message, then:
    Try these one step at the time and view the advertisements in between:

    1. Try to see the advertisement again immediately after an error occurs.
    2. Clear the browser's cache.
    3. Logout, clear the browser's cookies and login again.
    4. Try another browser (this will determine if the problem is related to any browser plug-in.
    -If this is the problem disable one by one the plug-ins to find where is the problem).
    5. Disable any firewall / spyware / Antivirus just to try.
    6. Reinstall the Flash plug-in and enable it.
    7. Reboot the router/modem.
    8. Clear the local DNS cache:
    - Windows: Start -> Run ->Type "cmd" and press enter ->In the command window type "ipconfig /flushdns"
    - Mac OSX versions 10.5.2 and later: Terminal -> dscacheutil -flushcache

    How long to wait for a response to a support ticket



    HOW LONG TO WAIT FOR A RESPONSE TO A SUPPORT TICKET

    Usually the tickets are answered in less than 72 hours but sometimes it can take longer.

    You will receive the answer in your primary e-mail address.

    If you received an e-mail with the ticket number of your support request you must wait patiently for their reply.

    If you didn't received the e-mail with the ticket number, then you need to add the "support@neobux.com" to the list of trusted senders. This action needs to be done in the email's internet page itself and not in a client (such as outlook) as the clients do not send that information back to the email server. After that send again only one suport ticket.

    Remember that by sending multiple support tickets for the same subjects can only delay the answer.

    How long do you let a referral go inactive before you recycle it



    Depends on his/her previous behavior. If it's the first time that a referral goes inactive is better to give him/her more time (if he/she will stay inactive, then auto-recycling will take care of him/her). If it seems that his/her clicking behavior has beens stabilized to an unprofitable level for you, then this is the perfect candidate for recycling.

    Keep in mind that the whole situation of your account is another fact that you must take under consideration when you are recycling. In example if you are making enough profit, you can be less strict with your referrals.

    Whenever a direct referral has his/her account suspended, the username will be displayed in red.

    The system automatically and periodically cleans out direct referrals whose accounts have been permanently suspended.

    Some will remain there for a longer period as their account may only be temporarily suspended and they may return. This way you won't lose them.


    Reasons that can cause suspension:

    ERROR MESSAGE WHEN VIEWING AD'S

    There is a limited amount of clicks assigned to each
    advertisement and when maximum clicks is reached,
    the advertisement expires.

    This is when you see an error message.

    With so many members clicking on very few ad's
    you have to be very fast and lucky to get the
    credited from viewing the extra ad's.

    For example:
    An ad displayed with 200 clicks available
    and 300 users clicking on them only the
    first 200 users will get credit for them.

    What is an extended view?

    An advertiser chooses between four kinds of exposure:
    Micro, Mini, Standard or Extended.

    A micro exposure lasts for 5 seconds, a
    mini exposure lasts for 15 seconds, a
    standard exposure lasts for 30 seconds and
    an extended exposure lasts for 60 seconds.
    This time is calculated from when the
    progress bar starts until it ends and the
    click gets credited to the user's account.

    An extended view advertisement is worth
    more than a standard view one. You can
    find values per click in our help page.

    When the bar finishes loading you
    will get credited and see one of these validations.

    HTTP Error 404 Not found



    I am in no way a computer expert, but after some searching, here is something that may help you...(not sure whether you're using Internet Explorer or Firefox)



    For Internet Explorer...

    From Microsoft Support (click here for the article):
    "When you attempt to visit a Web site on your local network (intranet), Internet Explorer displays a page with the following error message: Error - 404 Requested Information / is unavailable. Failed to connect to server name of the Web server. reason: hostname unknown".

    "This problem occurs when you add a forward slash to the end of a Web address that is specified as an exception in the proxy server settings".

    For Firefox...

    "Open Tools, Options then click Advanced then Network. Click on the Settings tab. Check to make sure No Proxy is checked. If it isn't, check it then ok out of the Options. Restart Firefox. All being well it will now connect. If it doesn't, try turning off the firewall, then try Firefox again".

    Why can't I view some websites?

    If you can access some websites but not all of them, here are some possible causes:

      2. Click the Connections tab.
    • Your router could be attempting to proxy DNS requests and failing. Refer to the documentation that came with your router for instructions on disabling DNS proxying.
    • Parental Controls, Family Safety, or some other parental control software could be blocking access to certain websites.

    Another user with my IP address has already seen the advertisement in the last 24 hours
    We only allow advertisements to be
    credited using the same IP address in 24 hours.

    Dynamic IP addresses are delivered randomly
    based on a geographical location.
    This means that the IP you have today may
    have been someone else's IP yesterday or a
    few hours ago.

    Some other probable causes may be:
    Some ISPs (Internet Service Providers)
    give the same IP address to more than one
    user usually by using a proxy.

    You're using a shared network environment
    (such as a school, an office, a cybercafe
    or even a building's network) where all
    computers share the same internet IP address.

    You have an unsecured wireless network and
    someone near you may be using your internet
    access without your consent.


    Available solutions:

    1. You can ask your ISP for a unique IP to solve the problem 100%
    2. You can try to reboot your router (or turn off your modem,
    wait up to 1 minute and then turn it back on) and try again.
    3. Make sure that no one else is accessing internet through
    your router (use a strong password).

    SAMPLE CALCULATIONS:
    (renting 3 refs and renewing for 60 days)
    [ 3 refs x $0.20 each ref ]
    = $0.60
    +
    [ $0.20 each ref x 60 days / 30 days x (1-0.10) 10% discount = $0.36 each ref for 60 days x 3 refs ]
    = $1.08

    Total Costs to rent 3 refs for 60 days ( $0.60+$1.08 ) = $1.68



    (renting 20 refs and renewing for 150 days)
    [ 20 refs x $0.20 each ref ]
    = $4.00
    +
    [ $0.20 each ref x 150 days / 30 days x (1-0.25) 25% discount = $0.75 each ref for 150 days x 20 refs ]
    = $15.00

    Total Costs to rent 20 refs for 240 days ( $4.00+$15.00 ) = $19.00



    FOR EXAMPLE:
    With a $10 balance you have many options to choose from

    rent 25 refs renewing 30 days
    or
    rent 15 refs with autopay on
    or
    rent 10 refs renewing 150 days
    or
    rent 10 refs renewing 5 refs @ 240 days and 5 refs @ 90 days


    DISCOUNTS:
    -Renewing for 15 more days offers no discount.
    -Renewing for 30 more days offers a 5% discount.
    -Renewing for 60 more days offers a 10% discount.
    -Using AutoPay offers a 15% discount.
    -Renewing for 90 more days is offers a 18% discount.
    -Renewing for 150 more days is offers a 25% discount.
    -Renewing for 240 more days is offers a 30% discount.


    NOTES:
    - The longer days renewed the lower
    the rent cost, BEP and risks.

    - Recommend not to renew at 15 & 30 days days.
    Only if waiting for more funds to be deposited.

    Rental price chart from the help page.

    Referrals - means how many rented referrals you currently have.

    Monthly - means the rent price per each ref from the pack you rent.

    Autopay - mean how much you paid to rent each ref for 1 additional day.

    Example 1:
    Currently you have 5 rented refs
    Rent a 100 pack
    Rent price = $0.20
    Total cost = 100 x $0.20 = $20.00

    Example 2:
    Currently you have 251 rented refs
    Rent a 40 pack
    Rent price = $0.21
    Total cost = 40 x $0.21 = $8.40
    (remember: rent limit for standard members is 300)

    Example 3:
    Currently you have 750 rented refs
    Rent a 100 pack
    Rent price = $0.22
    Total cost = 100 x $0.22 = $22.00

    Here is the formula to calculate your renewal costs:

    (monthly cost) x (# of months) x (% discount)
    =
    (cost per each ref for the days renewing rounded to two decimal places)


    For example:

    Standard member with less than
    250 referrals renewing for 90 days

    monthly cost = $0.22
    # of months = 3
    discount = 18% or ( 1-0.18 )

    $0.22 x 3 x 0.82 = $0.54

    $0.54 = cost for each referral


    If you have 100 rented referrals:

    100 x $0.54 = $54.00

    $54 will pay the rented referrals for another 90 days.

    BREAK EVEN AVERAGE



    break-even point (BEP) is the point at which cost or expenses and revenue are equal: there is no net loss or gain, and one has "broken even".
    A profit or a loss has not been made, although opportunity costs have been paid, and capital has received the risk-adjusted, expected return.

    Basically if your break even avg is 1.4

    For example:
    With 20 rented referrals you will need
    an average of 28 clicks every day to break even.

    (28 / 20 = 1.4)

    With 20 referrals that means an average
    of 28 clicks or more from your referrals
    each day you're in profit for the days
    owning the refs.
